If a county list includes a plant that is not native there, misses one you know grows wild nearby, or rates a plant for a spot it plainly cannot take, that is useful to hear. The lists can only be as good as the records behind them, and errors are worth tracing back to the source.

What we cannot do

We cannot visit your yard, identify a plant from a photo, or tell you where to buy a particular species - see the terms of use. For local sourcing and a second opinion on a list, your state's native-plant society and county extension office are the right people to ask.
